Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old. Then you see how every student well-trained in God’s kingdom is like the owner of a general store who can put his hands on anything you need, old or new, exactly when you need it.Matthew 13:52 NIV & MSG
I am guilty of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Often. It's kind of a way of life for me. It's called, "make it work". And I think there's an awful lot of good to it. But when I read what Jesus says here, I hear a revelation of being choosy.
Lord, help me to be choosy, to use the ingenuity You've given me to suggest and use smart solutions to real problems, and nonsolutions to created problems. Help me to do this with Kingdom thrust, "piercing asunder" the soul and spirit. In Jesus Name, amen.
Heb 4:12
